Job summary

Lumexa Imaging, Inc. is expanding its outpatient imaging services in Asheville, North Carolina. We are seeking a CT Technologist to join full-time, daytime shifts with no on-call or holidays.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT certification, is a graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program, and can expertly use RIS and PACS. You will position patients, operate the CT scanner, and contribute to a patient-focused imaging team.

Qualifications

• Current, valid ARRT certification in your modality.
• Graduate of approved Radiological Technology program.
• Proficient with RIS and PACS; computer literacy for scanning and data entry.
• Organized, detail oriented, observant.
• Calm and effective communicator.
• Helpful, patient and sympathetic.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner and perform scans.
• Position and assist patients during exams.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper immobilization.
• Manage patient data and image transfers in RIS/PACS.

We're seeking a full-time CT Technologist

Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime hours.No on-call or holidays

Qualifications:

• Current, valid ARRT certification in your modality
• Graduate of approved program for Radiological Technology
• Basic proficiency with computer monitors, keyboard and mouse for scanning, RIS and PACS use
• Organized, detail oriented, observant
• Calm and effective communicator
• Helpful, patient and sympathetic

• Lifting, moving, positioning and assisting patients on/off examination table
• Walking 25% of shift, standing 50% of shift, sitting 25% of shift
