CLS Health in Houston, TX is seeking a friendly Patient Service Representative I to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for patients, handling greetings, information verification, co-pays, and referrals to ensure a smooth visit.

You will maintain accurate records, assist with insurance and billing tasks, and support daily admin functions in a physician-led multispecialty care setting.

Formación

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance billing is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Verify patient information, including insurance coverage and personal information.
• Collect co-pays and other fees from patients at the time of service.
• Ensure referrals are in the patient's chart before the visit.
• Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy and up-to-date information.
• Count cash box and complete cash reconciliation forms; sign off on EBO report and cash reconciliation.
• Handle patient complaints and resolve issues professionally.
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
