CLS Health in Houston, TX is hiring a Patient Service Representative I to be the first point of contact for patients. You will verify information, collect co-pays, and help ensure accurate charting and smooth front-desk operations.

You must be detail-oriented, possess solid communication and interpersonal skills, and be fluent in Spanish. Prior medical office or customer service experience is preferred and proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a medical office or customer service environment preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance billing preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish speaking is a must.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Verify patient information, including insurance coverage and personal information
• Collect co-pays and other fees from patients at the time of service
• Ensure the referrals are in the patient's chart before the patient comes in
• Maintain patient records and ensure that they are accurate and up to date
• Count cash box and complete cash reconciliation forms. Once close is completed, sign off on EBO report and cash reconciliation
• Handle patient complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed
