Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic seeks a Patient Relations Associate to provide friendly, accurate telephone support and schedule appointments in the CIS system. You will verify insurance details, assist patients, and route inquiries to the appropriate center staff, contributing to smooth operations and high-quality patient care.

The role requires a calm, service-oriented demeanor, strong data-entry skills, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends to meet patient

Formación

• Commitment to Planned Parenthood mission.
• High school diploma or equivalent with 1 year call center or healthcare/customer service experience.
• Excellent customer service skills, especially a calm telephone manner.
• Adept at using CIS software and MS Outlook.

Responsabilidades

• Answer incoming telephone calls within three rings and per protocol.
• Answer callers' questions regarding hours, services, directions, prices, referrals, etc.
• Forward callers with medical questions to appropriate health center staff.
• Schedule patient appointments on CIS using registration information or a mini registration.
• Record insurance information, verify coverage and service eligibility.
• Obtain pre-authorization for services from insurers as needed.
