Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Central and Western New York is seeking a Patient Services Specialist to greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, and manage check-ins/outs in our EHR system. The role supports eligibility screening for programs and facilitates smooth patient flow across Niagara Falls and North Tonawanda locations.

The position requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information per HIPAA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-3 years of healthcare/medical billing experience preferred.
• Customer service experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients, visitors, and colleagues in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Verifies patient demographics and insurance information in the EPM system.
• Schedules and reschedules patient appointments and checks in/out.
