Job summary

Palmer College Foundation is seeking a Patient Service Representative at the 20 Florida Campus in Port Orange, FL. You will be the first point of contact for patients, handling intake and care coordination in a busy clinic.

The role requires strong communication, data entry accuracy, and the ability to manage appointments, payments, and patient records while upholding HIPAA and compliance standards. The position is full-time with daytime hours in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical office/health care training preferred.
• Customer interaction experience in a service industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and electronic communications promptly, accurately, and professionally.
• Make, cancel and reschedule patient appointments.
• Gather, verify and enter demographic and insurance information.
• Collect and post payments, generate receipts, reconcile daily receivable activity.
• Open and/or close the clinic following guidelines.
• Provide assistance to students, faculty, alumni, and visitors.
• Demonstrate initiative to improve quality and customer service.
• Support smooth operations with Clinic Supervisor.
