Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks a Patient Experience Coordinator to promote a positive patient and family experience across the care continuum. You will build relationships with patients, families, and staff, coordinate service improvements, and support training, coaching, and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two (2) years previous experience in patient experience or healthcare customer service required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and coordinates programs to promote a positive patient experience.
• Spearheads complaint and grievance resolution and serves as a resource for staff.
• Performs data entry and analyses to support service improvements and decision making.
• Provides training, coaching, mediation/issue resolution, and project support.
• Supports department operations and drives service recovery and continuous improvement initiatives.
