Job summary

Select Medical in Parkville, MO is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to greet patients, register them, and gather information about visits and next appointments at the front desk. You will schedule patient appointments, handle co-pays, and coordinate with insurance providers and other parties to keep operations running smoothly in our outpatient center.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year front desk experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• 1 year scheduling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about visits and next appointment at checkout.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Coordinate with attorney offices, insurance companies, translation teams, and business partners as needed.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance verifications.
