Job summary

Sage Health seeks a Patient Experience Associate / Care Coordinator to support front desk operations and care coordination across Sage Health centers. You will greet patients, manage scheduling, verify insurance, and coordinate referrals while ensuring compassionate, patient-centered care.

Based in the Little Rock area, you may cover other market centers as needed. The role emphasizes organization, teamwork, and timely communication to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced office with heavy phones.
• Professional demeanor and strong communication.
• Organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage competing priorities.
• COVID-19 vaccination required (including boosters).

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage check-in/out via EHR.
• Collect co-pays and verify insurance prior to appointments.
• Coordinate referrals and schedule appointments; communicate prep details.
• Process insurance authorizations via health plan platforms (e.g., Availity).
• Monitor open referrals and follow up on pending consults.
• Ensure referral documentation is complete and accessible.
• Coordinate care coordination workflows with clinical teams.
