Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking a friendly guest service attendant at Newport Hospital to be the first point of contact for patients, visitors and guests, delivering an extraordinary experience while ensuring privacy and safety standards.

You will greet people, provide wayfinding and transport, answer inquiries, and help keep the main lobby clean and welcoming in collaboration with security and environmental teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Hospitality-related degree or certificate preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including word processing.
• Excellent customer service and people skills.
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, visitors, and guests warmly and make them feel welcome.
• Provide wayfinding and transport as needed.
• Answer phones with proper techniques and assist with inquiries.
• Maintain lobby cleanliness in coordination with staff.
• Adhere to visitor policies and protect patient privacy.
• Assist with interpreter services when needed.
