Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 2 years of working experience in complaint management.
• Depending on department needs, may be required to obtain BLS and CPI within 90 days.
• Excellent computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Relays patient and family needs to promote optimum care and satisfaction.
• Interviews patients or representatives to gather demographic information for EHR input.
• Serves as a resource for compliments and complaints and researches concerns.
• Answers phone calls and directs callers when Call Center is unavailable.
• Provides information regarding policies and patient flow in Emergency Department.
• Offers emotional support and guides patients and families as needed.
• Assists in coordinating interpreter services and accessibility needs.
• Maintains professional image and adheres to service standards.
