Job summary

Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center in Washington, DC seeks an experienced Patient Experience Coordinator - Quality Assurance (Full Time) to drive patient-centered care, measure satisfaction, and implement service-excellence programs across the hospital.

The role partners with clinical leaders, analyzes feedback, supports frontline staff, and promotes continuous improvement aligned with organizational goals. UHS offers competitive benefits and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience in healthcare, acute care setting, patient experience, quality, or service excellence required.
  • Experience with patient satisfaction metrics (e.g., CAHPS) preferred.
  • CPXP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and coordination of patient experience and service excellence initiatives across the hospital.
  • Monitor, track, and analyze patient experience data, trends, and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with clinical and operational leaders to develop and implement strategies that improve patient satisfaction and engagement.
  • Serve as a resource to frontline staff by providing guidance, education, and support related to patient-centered care practices.
  • Assist with patient rounding, service recovery efforts, and follow-up on patient concerns to promote positive care experiences.
  • Support the evaluation of patient experience programs and help ensure continuous improvement and alignment with organizational goals.
