Mann Eye is seeking a Front Desk Coordinator to join our Humble, TX team. You will be the first and last contact for patients, handling check-ins/outs, collecting information, and ensuring a welcoming experience. Prior medical or med spa front desk experience is preferred.

You will manage patient billing, verify insurance, and maintain patient confidentiality. A strong customer service mindset and reliable, multi-tasking abilities are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical office or guest-oriented environment.
• Experience in optical/optometry or sales preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Reliability and dependability.

Responsabilités

• Registers patients, obtains email, verifies and updates information in the medical record.
• Update patient recall status in computer per chart documentation.
• Explain insurance coverage to patients.
• File vision plans.
• Collect payment for services (refraction fees, co-pays, balances).
• Monitor patient wait time and alert manager if wait exceeds 20 minutes.
• Maintain reception area cleanliness and reading materials.
• Protect patient confidentiality per HIPAA and guidelines.
• Maintain positive relationships with staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
