Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a front desk/Patient Services Representative to enhance the patient experience by courteously and professionally processing arrival and departure activities during visits to the practice/department.

Responsibilities include obtaining pre-certifications, verifying insurance and demographics, supporting the Jefferson Experience through timely, courteous service, and maintaining efficient flow while escalating concerns as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must communicate courteously with patients/visitors.
• Ability to process and interpret data.
• Ability to multitask while managing a time-sensitive workload.

Responsibilities

• Enhances the patient/customer experience by courteously processing arrival and departure activities.
• Obtains pre-certifications and/or pre-authorizations for procedures.
• Verifies insurance, referrals and patient demographics information.
• Supports delivery of the Jefferson Experience with prompt and courteous treatment of patients/visitors.
• Maintains efficient flow of practice and escalates concerns as appropriate.
• Greets and interacts with patients/visitors in a professional manner, on phone or in person.
• Ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory standards.
