Job summary

Baptist Health Urgent Care in North Little Rock, AR is seeking experienced Medical Receptionists to join our team. You will greet patients, activate files and support both patients and medical staff.

Full-time role with a rotating 36–40 hour week schedule, including 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend; PRN on as-needed basis. Prior medical office experience is preferred and EMR familiarity is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of basic computer software and ability to learn EMR systems.
• Prior experience in a medical office setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors and direct them through registration.
• Answer multi-line phones, file, scan and process daily documentation.
• Check in/out patients, assist clinical staff and close the office when shift ends.
• Collect insurance information, verify demographics, process payments, and post balances.
