Genesis HealthCare, Inc. is seeking a receptionist for our Carlisle nursing center to be the first point of contact for patients, families and visitors. You will answer calls, greet guests, and help coordinate mail and front-desk duties.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong English communication, and proficiency with Google Workspace. Excellent customer service is expected as you support a welcoming, organized environment.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English to ensure safety and well-being of patients and visitors.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Must be proficient with Google Docs, Sheets, Slides.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls professionally and courteously and redirect them appropriately.
• Warmly welcome, greet and direct patients, visitors, and guests.
• Coordinate outgoing and incoming mail.
• Maintain current lists of patients/residents by name/room number and employees by names/phone extension.
• Order supplies and performs other clerical duties as assigned.
