Job summary

United Surgical Partners International (USPI) is seeking a Front Office Receptionist for a Colorado ambulatory surgery center. You will greet patients, route calls, and support scheduling and charting tasks.

Responsibilities include insurance verification, cash collection, and accurate handling of patient records. A high school diploma and clerical experience are preferred, with strong communication and organizational skills expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of previous experience or some hospital or ASC clerical experience preferred.
• Must be competent in basic office equipment (computer, printer, telephone, and fax).
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and remain poised and professional when interacting with potentially hostile patients and family members.

Responsibilities

• Handle and route all incoming calls and greet patients and families.
• Assist with procedures and surgical scheduling.
• Verify insurance information.
• Assist with cash collections and ensure correct patient chart handling.
