Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1+ year of medical office or healthcare administrative experience.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and web-based medical software.
• Excellent communication, task-prioritization, and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail in high-volume settings.
• Ability to pass a standard Florida Level 2 healthcare background screening (including fingerprinting).

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet patients, manage incoming phone calls, address inquiries, and maintain a pristine, welcoming waiting area.
• Efficiently schedule appointments to optimize provider availability, notify clinical staff upon patient arrival, and streamline patient check-in/check-out.
• Retrieve, verify, and update electronic patient records, process clinical paperwork, update financial details, and collect patient payments.
• Assist with inventory management, monitor office supplies, handle data entry, and perform administrative support tasks to ensure efficient daily operations.
