Scripps Health, Del Mar Clinic, is seeking a Patient Service Representative for the Plastic Surgery department. You will be on the front line creating a positive patient experience, handling registration, scheduling, billing inquiries, and check-out processes.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on accurate information gathering and customer service in a busy clinical setting.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and register patients, gather information for accurate registration, assign Medical Record Number, schedule appointments and handle payment collection.
• Respond to customer billing and payment inquiries.
• Manage check-in/check-out process, verify identity, confirm demographics/insurance, collect signatures, and prepare end-of-day reports.
• Schedule and confirm appointments in person or by phone; enter insurance information.
• Initiate and validate referrals/authorizations.
• Provide proactive customer service and escalate to leadership when needed.
