Job summary

Prosano Health Solutions, in partnership with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, seeks a frontline team member to greet patients, verify coverage, and manage scheduling at our on-site care centers.

You will maintain patient records in the EMR, assist care teams, and ensure HIPAA compliance in a fast-paced environment across multiple Arizona locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active BLS certification preferred.
• Experience in patient-facing roles or medical office is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead patient check-in procedures with excellent service and a positive greeting.
• Verify coverage, confirm appointments, and share any pre-visit instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system.
• Manage phone calls with courteous, professional etiquette.
• Schedule appointments and optimize clinician calendars across sites.

You Will

• Lead patient check-in procedures with excellent customer service, greeting patients warmly, professionally and ensuring a positive first impression
• Prepare patient visits by verifying coverage, confirming appointments, and sharing any necessary pre-visit instructions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records within the EMR system
• Manage phone calls with diligence and excellent phone etiquette
• Schedule appointments accurately, optimizing clinician schedules across all Prosano locations.
• Work in partnership with Prosano care teams to provide seamless and integrated service to our patients
• Support the care team by ensuring patient needs are clearly communicated prior to visit.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately.
• Perform tasks to maintain a clean and healthy work environment
• Maintain front office and lobby in an organized and professional appearance at all times.
• Experience in a patient-facing or customer-facing position (medical office experience is a plus)
• Excellent patient or customer service and communication skills
• A patient first mindset and genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to stay organized and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities with attention to detail.
• A flexible and positive attitude
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Working hours may include extended hours.
• This position requires 100% on-site work at the care center location and may also involve movement between clinics as needed

You Have

• Proficient PC skills
• Experience with EMR systems for scheduling and documentation (Athena experience is a plus)
• High school diploma or GED
• A Basic Life Saving (BLS) Certification
• An active Arizona fingerprint clearance card

Clinic Protocols

• Completion of N95 Mask Fit Testing within 30 days of hire
• Completion of all required vaccinations to work in clinic before clinic start date
