Job summary

Amen Clinics is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) to assist the Clinic Director and Psychiatrists with administrative and operational tasks to ensure each patient has a smooth and professional experience. The PCC focuses on customer service, opens lines of communication, and keeps their assigned doctor organized and current on patient needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Medical Assistant Certificate or Associate’s Degree preferred
• Minimum 2 years professional experience in a clinic or medical practice required
• Proficient in maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance

Responsibilities

• Greet, check-in and check-out patients
• Handle new and existing patient inquiries
• Maintain accurate EMR records and communications
• Collect and post patient payments
• Answer calls and emails and relay information accurately
• Schedule, reschedule and cancel appointments
• Support assigned doctor and other PCCs as needed
• Provide supplement and nutraceutical information to patients
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information
