Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2 years previous healthcare experience.
• Experience in a customer service role.
• Preferred: EMR system experience.
• Preferred: knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Manages schedules to optimize resources including providers, rooms and equipment.
• Coordinates scheduling and template openings/closures for patient care.
• Communicates with patients and clinical staff to ensure adherence to treatment plans.
• Assists Practice Manager with data collection and analysis on physician productivity and resource use.
• Facilitates resolution of billing errors and ensures necessary pre-certifications or referrals.
• Registers patients and coordinates appointment scheduling.
• Provides patient education materials as needed.
• Maintains strong relationships with patients, staff, and vendors.
• Responds to inquiries about practice operations and follows up to ensure care plan compliance.
