Responsibilities

• Welcomes all new patients and assists in orientation to the hospital; answers routine questions and refers complex questions to the appropriate team member.
• Demonstrates clear communication in person, by phone, and in writing; maintains active listening and courteous conduct.
• Assists with day-to-day functions and events to promote an excellent patient experience.
• Distributes and collects patient satisfaction surveys; performs data entry and daily rounds to discuss patient experience.
• Acts as patient ambassador; solicits testimonials and relays staff compliments to leadership.
• Identifies and escalates patient concerns to the appropriate department; provides service recovery and ensures issues are resolved.
• Shares safety stories with leadership and participates in committees focused on patient experience and service initiatives.
• Maintains professional dress and conduct; pursues ongoing professional development.
