Job summary

United Health Services (UHS) Chenango Memorial Hospital seeks a Patient Experience Associate to greet patients, assist with registration, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and collect payments, ensuring accurate Epic records and a welcoming visit.

You will collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support visit flow, protect privacy, and deliver respectful, patient-centered care at a Day shift in the Southern Tier of New York.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of customer/patient-facing experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience in any role beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors to create a welcoming experience.
• Register patients, schedule appointments, and verify insurance.
• Provide information on appointments and services to aid visit flow.
• Collect copays and outstanding balances at point of service.
• Maintain patient records in Epic for accurate and accessible records.
