US Eye is seeking a Patient Care Representative to join our front desk team in Charleston. You will greet patients, verify information, schedule appointments, and support staff to ensure a smooth patient experience.

The role requires strong customer service, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Prior healthcare or eye care background is a plus; full-time hours with benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; associate’s degree preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Prior experience in a customer service role.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients, visitors, and staff at entry; monitor reception areas and provide assistance.
• Verify information and assist with patient questionnaires and forms during check-in.
• Print daily schedules for team/physician(s).
• Attend to walk-in patients, scheduling inquiries, and prescription/record pick-up as needed.
• Disseminate information using phone systems and computer software.
• Cross-check and update next-day charts based on appointment schedule.
• Maintain an orderly and safe workspace for patients and staff.
• Complete appointment confirmation calls.
• Collect co-payments, non-covered service fees, and outstanding balances at check-out.
• Fill out essential reports and forms; perform additional administrative tasks as needed.
