Job summary

Protocol Behavioral Health is seeking a Patient Engagement Coordinator to greet referred patients and guide them from referral through the first intake, answering questions and scheduling with a Behavioral Health Care Manager.

You will own the conversion funnel, perform omnichannel outreach, document consent accurately, schedule intake sessions, and re-engage patients to reduce drop-offs while ensuring timely access to care.

Qualifications

• Experience in a phone-based customer service or patient enrollment role.
• Ability to meet conversion and pipeline targets.
• Strong communicator with empathy and persistence.
• Organized with live referral pipeline management.

Responsibilities

• Own the patient conversion funnel and meet SLAs.
• Lead omnichannel outreach to new referrals via phone and text.
• Handle objections with empathy and confidence.
• Guide patients through informed consent.
• Schedule intake sessions and manage reminders.
• Re-engage unengaged patients and reschedule as needed.
• Track outreach in CRM/EHR and report key metrics.
• Collaborate with Clinical & Operations teams to improve messaging.
