Job summary

Tactile Medical is seeking a Patient Education Consultant to train and demonstrate our devices to patients in their homes or clinics, with some telehealth options. You will educate patients and caregivers on device use, discuss insurance coverage, and help finalize purchases.

The role requires strong communication, resilience in a sales-adjacent setting, and traveling up to 80% within the territory while maintaining HIPAA compliance and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years in patient-facing education/training or customer service.
• Health-related certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and caregivers on device use, including donning/doffing garments and therapy sessions.
• Schedule and conduct trainings and demonstrations with patients.
• Explain financial responsibilities and insurance coverage to finalize the sale.
• Provide clear instructions during demonstrations; adapt to patient needs.
• Respond to patient feedback and questions; escalate issues as needed.
