Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

• Self-starter, work independently, balance a variety tasks and organize tasks and staff.
• Must possess time management and organizational skills.
• Must participate in HACCP/food safety activities.

Responsibilities

• Check assigned patient trays for diet order accuracy start re-therm cycle & assist with beverage service to ensure timely meal service.
• Distribute and retrieve patient and guest trays.
• Assemble and distribute patient snacks, nutritional supplements and enteral feeding products.
• Read and pass correct select menus per the diet order, assist patients with menus and retrieve select menus as necessary.
• Follows sanitation and HACCP documentation procedures and maintains assigned records.
• Interact effectively with patients, nursing staff, dietitians and Food Court staff to coordinate service and meet patient nutritional needs.
