Job summary

North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a Production Worker to support all food service roles, including food preparation, trayline management, inventory, and sanitation. The role emphasizes timely, safe, and quality food service, with strong communication and organizational skills to work with staff and customers.

You will greet customers, handle cash register duties, assist in inventory and ordering, and help maintain the cafeteria area in compliance with HACCP and health standards.

Responsibilities

• Properly prepares /cooks /re-thermalizes cold & hot foods to a high level of quality and ensure safe food.
• Follows recipes and instructions for proper use of equipment to ensure the best quality food.
• Presents /merchandises all foods attractively in an eye appealing manner.
• Serves on tray lines, delivers /returns carts, ware & pot washing, mops floors, cleaning / sanitizes equipment.
• Assists with inventory, ordering, receiving and proper storage of foods.
• Greets customers and charges & registers all items consistently when assigned to the cash register.
