Job summary

North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a Patient Dining Associate to provide exceptional meal service and nutritional support to patients. You will ensure diet orders are followed, support nutrition plans, and maintain high standards of food safety and patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires teamwork, strong communication, and flexibility to coordinate with Nursing and Clinical Nutrition to enhance the patient dining experience.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service focus and clear communication with patients and staff.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment and coordinate with multiple teams.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and HACCP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review patient meal trays for accuracy and diet compliance.
• Assist with meal assembly, beverage service, and tray preparation to ensure timely delivery.
• Deliver and retrieve patient and guest meals while maintaining service standards.
• Assist patients with menu selections within prescribed dietary restrictions.
• Process patient meal selections accurately within established timeframes.
• Collaborate with Diet Office, Nursing, and Food & Nutrition Services to support dietary needs.
