Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) on the THOP East Campus in El Paso, TX. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available, with training provided.

As part of the caregiving team, you help patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver meals, and ensure meals meet nutritional and safety standards, including HIPAA and HACCP compliance. Join a nationwide network that values care for patients, staff, and quality dining

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand menu selections and coordinate with nursing for nutrition compliance.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, sensitivities, and cultural/religious preferences.
• Assemble meals according to patient selections and retrieve trays on time.
• Follow HIPAA, HACCP, and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Assist dietitians in monitoring patients on restricted diets when needed.
• Communicate patient issues to appropriate staff promptly.
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly reports as required.
