Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, seeks a Patient Dining Associate to support patient meal service on site at Sierra Medical Center in El Paso. You will assist patients with menu selections, assemble meals, and ensure orders meet nutrition and safety standards.

The role requires prior patient dining experience, attention to detail, and ability to work weekends. Compensation is hourly with full benefits and opportunities to support diverse patient needs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and interpret English documents.
• Basic computer and math skills required.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and push food carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand menu selections and ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, sensitivities, and cultural preferences.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals to patient selections; retrieve trays on time.
• Comply with federal/state/JCAHO standards; follow HIPAA and patient rights policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and cleaning work stations.
• Follow facility infection control policies and procedures.
• Assist dietitians by monitoring patients on special diets or calories.
• Communicate problems or concerns to appropriate personnel promptly.
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly reports per Morrison policies.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations and department procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
