Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) for a part-time position at THOP Sierra Medical Center in El Paso, TX. You will assist patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver meals, and help maintain tray accuracy and timing.

Schedule is part-time; weekends may be required. The role emphasizes nutrition, patient safety, and collaborative care with nurses and kitchen staff. Pay is $13.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret English-language documents.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills are required.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds and push food carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand menu selections and coordinate with nursing to meet nutritional needs.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team to offer menu alternatives for allergies, preferences, and cultural considerations.
• Assemble meals according to patient selections and retrieve trays at scheduled times.
• Follow HIPAA, HACCP, and health regulations; maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Assist dietitians with patients on special diets and monitor intake as required.
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly reports per policies and procedures.
