Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ServSafe Food Handler certification required, upon hire.
• Minimum of 4 years of work experience, with at least 1 year at the supervisory level required.
• Related foodservice work experience in healthcare and / or experience in Patient Meals a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Patient Dining / Room Service Cooks and related tasks.
• Interviews, evaluates, and conducts disciplinary actions per HR policies.
• Ensures safety and sanitation per HACCP and Health Dept guidelines.
• Develops department work schedules and monitors attendance.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper storage, labeling, dating, and rotation.
• Creates a positive work environment and supports leadership.
