Job summary

North Mississippi Health Services in Tupelo, MS is seeking a Patient Dining Associate to deliver compassionate meal service and support nutritional care for patients. You will coordinate meal selections, assist with tray assembly, and ensure timely service within prescribed diets in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will partner with Nursing, Clinical Nutrition, and Food & Nutrition Services to maintain food safety standards and accuracy, while providing excellent patient-centered service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of food service experience preferred.
• Hospital or healthcare environment experience preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Review patient meals for accuracy and diet compliance.
• Assist with meal assembly and delivery to patient rooms.
• Help patients with menu selections within dietary restrictions.
• Maintain sanitation and support food safety standards.
