Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Catering to You Associate to assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with the Food and Nutrition Department to assemble and deliver meals. This role supports clinical staff by understanding patient nutrition needs and ensuring meals are nutritious and satisfactory.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and current patient information on assigned units
• Demonstrate knowledge of modified diets and restrictions; report to Dietitian
• Assist Dietitian with monitoring patients on NPO or liquid diets
• Adapt to physician-ordered diets and ensure timely service
• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with Food and Nutrition for tray assembly and delivery
• Communicate patient/resident problems to appropriate personnel promptly
• Assist with other duties as assigned and adhere to organizational standards
