Job summary

OhioHealth Corporation is seeking a Nutrition Services Aide to work at an OhioHealth care site, assisting patients with meal selections, assembling, delivering and retrieving meal trays, and helping ensure meals are served on time and at the right temperature.

You will collaborate with dietitians and nursing staff, maintain clean stations, use department software to print reports and labels, and support nourishment services with variable shifts and no required degree.

Qualifications

• No degree or diploma required.
• HS diploma/GED preferred for individuals over 18 and not in high school.
• 16- and 17-year-old individuals without a high school diploma or GED are eligible only with a valid work permit.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient meal orders, assemble, distribute and retrieve meal trays.
• Interact with patients, visitors and staff to meet service standards.
• Clean and stock stations and kitchen areas as assigned.
• Use department software to enter preferences, print reports and labels for nourishments.
• Prepare and deliver nourishments and record unit refrigerator temperatures.
