Job summary

Qualifications

• Year(s) of experience in food service or patient dining preferred.
• Strong communication with dietitians, nurses and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver patient meals, assemble trays, and retrieve trays to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.
• Interact professionally with patients, visitors and hospital staff to meet service standards.
• Clean and stock work stations and kitchen areas as assigned.
• Use department computer systems to enter preferences, print reports, labels and diet order changes.
• Record temperatures of unit refrigerators and assist in other department areas as needed.
