Job summary

Northridge Health & Rehab is seeking a dedicated dietary aide to assist in meal preparation and service for our patients. You will support the kitchen team, help with food distribution, and ensure cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include meal prep support, tray delivery, dishwashing, and adherence to infection control policies. Prior experience is helpful; inclusive benefits offered to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in preparing desserts or snacks for patients.
• Assist cook in preparation of meals.
• Carry trays to patients in halls.
• Clean tables in the dining area after meals.
• Help with salads and desserts and other dishes.
• Record temperatures of freezers and walk-ins.
• Follow infection control policies in the work area.
• Operate dish machine and other kitchen equipment.
• Promote a positive image of the facility.
