Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate and current information for each patient on assigned unit(s).
• Demonstrates knowledge of modified diets and related restrictions as directed by clinical staff.
• Assists Dietitian with monitoring patients on special diets or intake tracking.
• Adapts to physician-ordered modified diets and ensures efficient service timing through quality patient service.
• Assists patients with menu selections and coordinates with Food and Nutrition Department to assemble meals.
• Communicates patient-related problems to appropriate personnel promptly.
• Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
• Adheres to organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
