Job summary

Cody Regional Health is seeking a Food Service Ambassador to support Nutrition Services on-site in Cody, WY. You will work closely with Registered Dietitians, nurses and chefs to ensure well-plated meals, accurate orders, and compliance with therapeutic diet protocols while learning in a healthcare setting.

The role emphasizes direct patient interaction, meal delivery, and safe food handling, with opportunities for growth. Sign-on bonus is offered for full-time external applicants.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform on-the-job training related to sanitary food service standards and safety.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions.
• Computer skills and knowledge of working on a tablet.
• Food service experience (3 months preferred).

Responsibilities

• Direct patient contact and place meal orders following therapeutic diet protocols.
• Deliver patient meals and nourishments.
• Stock nourishment items and record activities via online system.
• Adhere to sanitary regulations for handling and serving food.
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians and chefs to ensure meal accuracy.
• Collect meal trays and assist with tray line.
