Job summary

Lakeland Regional Health in Lakeland, FL is seeking a friendly Dietary Ambassador to ensure patient meals meet dietary prescriptions and to interact with patients in rooms and over the phone.

You will work as part of the dietary team, coordinating with care teams, inputting orders into the dietary software, serving meals with a compassionate approach, and helping maintain sanitation, safety and quality across patient food service.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Must demonstrate competence operating computers and tablets.
• High School or Equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient meal service and record orders in dietary software system.
• Coordinate with care teams to assemble and deliver meals.
• Ensure prescribed diets are followed and modify trays as needed.
• Assist teammates and communicate with patients, family, and staff.
• Maintain sanitation and a safe, clean work area.
• Identify potential nutritional issues and consult with dietitians.
