Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System in Georgia is seeking a Food Services Representative to deliver meals, check patient trays, and support dining services with a friendly, patient-focused approach. This hospitality role requires reading diet orders, following tray cards, and maintaining clean work areas.

The FSR will work flexible hours, assist in meal setup, stock pantries, and help the Cook as needed, contributing to patient satisfaction and smooth operation of the Dietary department.

Qualifications

• One year of customer service experience required.
• Ability to read, understand and follow diet orders and tray cards.
• Must be able to perform routine tasks with interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Visits patient rooms and retrieves meal selections from patients prior to meal deliveries.
• Assembles, delivers, and picks up patient trays; delivers late trays and nourishments as ordered.
• Assist Cook in the preparation and service of meals.
• Wash and store dishes; follow cleaning schedules and deemed duties as scheduled.
• Follow established reporting procedures for supply or equipment needs and safety.
• Demonstrates proper safety, hygiene and CQI practices per department policy.
