Unidine is hiring for a part-time Patient Dining Associate in Schenectady, NY. The role involves assisting patients with menu selections, assembling and delivering meals, and coordinating with nursing and culinary teams to meet dietary requirements.

The position requires prior dietary aide experience preferred, with a pay range of $16.50–$17.00 per hour. Training is offered, and the schedule includes Tue–Thu and Sun from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Judson Meadows.

Qualifikationen

• Must be able to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, and maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Aufgaben

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Coordinate with caregivers and culinary team to determine menu alternatives for allergies or restrictions.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selection and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Comply with HIPAA and regulatory standards, and follow HACCP guidelines.
• Assist dietitians with patients on special diets as needed.
• Complete daily, weekly or monthly reports as outlined by policies.
