Job summary

Unidine, part of Compass Group USA, is hiring a part-time Patient Dining Associate at Judson Meadows in Schenectady, NY 12302. Schedule is 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday.

Prior dietary aide experience preferred, and training is offered to new hires. As a Patient Dining Associate, you will work on assigned units, help patients make menu selections, assemble and deliver meal trays, and support patient safety and satisfaction goals by ensuring meals are accurate and

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and work with nursing to ensure nutritional requirements are met.
• Assemble meals according to patient selections and deliver to rooms.
• Retrieve trays and ensure meals are served at the correct time and temperature.
• Maintain hygiene and follow HACCP, safety, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Coordinate with dietitians and culinary team on alternatives for allergies and preferences.
