Job summary

AdventHealth DADE CITY is seeking a Food Service Attendant to support patient dining services. You will guide meal orders, verify patient identifiers, and ensure accurate tray delivery while maintaining a clean and compliant work environment.

The role requires standing and walking for long shifts (up to 12 hours) and following prescribed diet guidelines. High school diploma preferred; benefits include health coverage and paid time off.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of modified diets and proper food handling and preparation.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through meal ordering using a computerized diet office system.
• Verify patient identifiers during meal delivery and ensure tray accuracy.
• Round on patients and nursing staff to resolve foodservice concerns and perform service recovery.
