Job summary

Patient Dining Associates work on assigned units in a healthcare facility, delivering and assembling meal trays to patients and ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You will assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with caregivers and the culinary team to meet dietary needs.

We seek candidates who can walk extensively, handle food service tasks, and follow HIPAA and sanitation guidelines in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds and push carts.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients by delivering and collecting meal trays.
• Help ensure menu selections meet dietary requirements and restrictions.
• Coordinate with nursing and culinary teams for menu alternatives.
• Retrieve trays from patient rooms at scheduled times.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and sanitation procedures in the tray line.
• Complete daily, weekly or monthly reports as required.
