Job summary

AdventHealth in Dade City, FL is seeking a patient meal service assistant to guide patients through meal ordering and verify tray accuracy, ensuring alignment with prescribed diets and delivering a positive dining experience across patient areas.

You will assemble and deliver trays per therapeutic diet guidelines, perform rounds with nursing staff to address concerns, and support a clean, compliant work environment on long shifts.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of modified diets and proper food handling and preparation.
• High School Grad or Equiv (Preferred).
• Customer service experience (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through the meal ordering process using a computerized system.
• Verify patient identifiers during meal delivery and ensure tray accuracy.
• Round on patients and nursing staff to resolve foodservice concerns and implement service recovery.
• Assemble and deliver trays according to therapeutic diet guidelines and presentation standards.
