Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a part-time Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) in North Little Rock, AR 72117. Shifts include 5:30 am–1:30 pm or 12:30 pm–8:30 pm with varying days. Prior experience preferred but not required.

Pay rate is $15.00 per hour. Online applications accepted only. As part of the patient dining team, you will assist with menu selections, tray assembly and timely delivery, while upholding HIPAA, HACCP and safety standards in a healthcare

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, dietary restrictions, and cultural preferences.
• Assemble meals according to patient selections and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and maintain sanitation in food prep and tray area.
• Comply with HIPAA policies and patient rights.
• Monitor patients not eating normally and assist dietitians as needed.
• Document daily, weekly or monthly reports as required.
• Adhere to federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
