Job Description: Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide)

Morrison Healthcare is hiring immediately for a part-time Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) position at Navarro Hospital, Corsicana, TX. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Part-time shifts from 6:30 am - 1:00 pm or 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Days may vary, more details upon interview.

Requirement: Previous food service experience preferred.

Pay Rate: $11.25 per hour.

Job Summary

Patient Dining Associates assist on healthcare units by helping patients select, assemble, deliver, and pick up meals, ensuring safety and satisfaction by accurate and timely meal delivery.

Essential Duties

• Assist patients with menu selections, ensuring dietary restrictions are met.
• Coordinate with culinary and nursing staff for special dietary needs.
• Manage tray tickets, assemble meals, and retrieve trays as scheduled.
• Follow regulatory standards, confidentiality, and HIPAA policies.
• Adhere to HACCP guidelines and infection control policies.
• Support dietitians with patient monitoring and special diets.
• Communicate concerns promptly and complete required reports.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to lift/move up to 100 pounds and maneuver carts.
